The Shanghai Boy "Reputed Gangster" at The Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Temple, Hong Kong ... the chap in the white suit surrounded by bodyguards and as my guest would testify we got to shake hands with him as well!
There is in Hong Kong an informal affiliation of Private Tour Guides.
All of us are at the top of our game with the reviews to back us up, quite a few of us have been around for 10 years or more doing Private Tours of Hong Kong but one thing is clear, we are all totally passionate about Hong Kong and we really know our stuff.
We formed the Group in early 2014 with the aim of improving existing high standards and sharing information, ideas and market intelligence, we want Guests who visit this fabulous city, Hong Kong to have the very best experience.
Entry to our group is by invitation only and it is for company owners only.

Some of my friends and colleagues are shown above doing their thing on the Streets of Hong Kong, we keep pretty busy and we are always bumping into one another on tours.
We naturally have social events, meeting up in nice bars and nice restaurants (one of the advantages of most of us being foodies) and as you can imagine we talk shop most of the time, swapping stories and ideas.
Below you will see links to each guides website, we all offer top quality Private Tours of Hong Kong, many of us do food tours, some specialise in car tours, hiking tours, cycling tours, quite a few of us also do group tours, free group tours and group food tours.
Many of us are fabulous at languages but most importantly we are all absolutely fluent in English and | or Cantonese with French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin options also available.
Availability is basically 7 days a week including holidays, there is always someone free over the major holidays (Christmas, Easter, New Year and Chinese New Year for example)
….. and quite a few of us offer day tours to Macau, the old Portuguese Colony which is 40 miles west of Hong Kong.
In a nutshell, we have you covered.
Although Jason is not officially in our Group, many of us talk to him, meet up him for a coffee, go on his walks and such, he is amazingly knowledgeable about Hong Kong and we all enjoy his newspaper articles (yes, he is pretty famous!)
