Personalised car number plates - what can I say other than in Hong Kong it is taken to another level when it comes to paying for them.... the most expensive plates here are numbers only as they are somewhat obsessed with lucky | unlucky numbers in Hong Kong but just letters (2 or 3 letters) which are generally the initials of the car owner can also go for a considerable amount of money and then we have the rest which generally hold a special meaning.
Here are 50 of my own personal favourites which I have taken personally.
Oh, you will notice that, with one or two exceptions these number plates are on very fancy cars! - awesome.
The most expensive car number plate in Hong Kong is the one that just says 28 and it sold for US$2,320,510!!

It is hard to beat the Pink Rolls Royce Phantom for over the top, in your face Hong Kong culture and Deborah is gorgeous by the way! I also love the plate CASPER....

HOUSE is my favourite in this set with I LOVE YOU a close second! also the Bentley with the plate HS is owned by the husband of DEBORAH, the pink Rolls Royce Phantom.

This is a tough one as I like them all but SIR D is hard to ignore, the owner does have an oversized ego and then it is between RAW and SMOKE.

The car with the plate TMNT is owned by the guy that invented the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! the yellow Porsche with the plate TOPLESS is a personal favourite as well but the combination of a Pagani hypercar and the number plate IFI is hard to top!

My favourite, easy - VAMPIRE followed by ZEUZ and that velvet and chrome Bentley has to be to the most awful car in Hong Kong and proof positive that money and good taste do not always go hand in hand.
