Things to do with kids in Hong Kong | The Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple

My new Sony RX 1r camera takes absolutely brilliant images!, a hazy day view from the Peak looking down on Hong Kong and a selection of gorgeous cars

Normally there are tens of thousands of people lining up to get in at Chinese New Year!

How mysterious, I always go to the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple at Chinese New Year to observe the crazy crowds of worshippers, I was bit amazed to see no lines yesterday, it was busy yes but NO lines!... and the weather was gorgeous.

Oh Lordy, an even better shot of the Bugatti Veyron behind reflective glass...

I spent yesterday testing out the new camera and I have to say that I was just gobsmacked with the image quality, I was expecting a major improvement over my simple Olympus XZ-1 camera but not to this extent.

As it is a fixed 35mm lens there is essentially no zoom function but because of the huge sensor and fantastic lens you can crop without any loss of image quality - amazing.. I am absolutely thrilled with it.

I will be buying a polarising filter shortly... so when I take images of cars behind reflective glass I will be able lose most of the "reflection"

A polarising filter will also help filter out the smog which is prevalent at this time of the year, not a bad image mind!

As you are aware I am a bit of a car nut and Hong Kong does not disappoint on the fancy car front....

The Rickshaw guy has been busy building more of these iconic "things" these ones are almost complete...

I am glad the Chinese New Year public holiday period is over, it has been madness at the Peak, a truly horrible experience with the crowds, this young lady had hordes of tourists taking photo's of her

The big difference is now that I do not have to do any post image tweaking.. amazing

This spaniel I bumped into at the Peak is called Jamie!

My 3rd Ferrari of the day - this one is always parked outside the Four Seasons Hotel in Central
