Our Police have the power of stop and search and I reckon it really cuts down on crime - the basic criteria for the stop and search is that the person has to look shifty, the legal definition of shifty is whatever the Police think.
It is hard to get close to the Port to get pictures, these were taken from a speeding bus! our port is now the 4th largest in the world down from no. 1 about 5 years ago - Shanghai is no. 1, Singapore no. 2, Shenzhen is no. 3 and we are no. 4
There is a small park next to the Island Shangri -la Hotel where you will find these two star crossed lovers who forgot to go home sometime in the 1990's - they look fossilised to me.
