Hong Kong Tours | Visiting the Big Buddha on a sunny day in Hong Kong

Those lines are a pain in the neck, the cable car ride is fabulous, watch out for the dodgy snow globes and boy I hate those 260+ steps but what a great day out!!

It sure has the wow factor

It sure has the wow factor

It's funny how whenever I go and visit the Giant Buddha it is either cloudy, misty, raining or the sun doesn't shine that much, now I can say I have been on a gloriously sunny day (with a lovely breeze and 65% humidity) and it was simply wonderful.

I still hate the fake NP Village, I hate the tackiness of the keychains and snow globes with your picture, the crowds can get on your nerves and I hate the lines for the cable car but believe me the effort is worth it, both the cable car and the Giant Buddha have that wow factor.

The Po Lin Monastery is like a construction site at the moment so we gave that I miss and perhaps more surprisingly I had no issue with those 260+ steps, probably because the humidity was quite low and there was a lovely breeze.

Enjoy the images

You do not see many people smiling, climbing those steps - I know cuss words in 56 different languages!
